Private Ambulance Owners Strike at Dhaka Medical College Hospital
Ambulance owners have been providing services by parking their vehicles on the hospital premises, but parking facilities have since been discontinued, leading to congestion and traffic congestion. The hospital director, Brigadier General AKM Farhad Hossain, ruled out permanent parking but said authorities will face legal action if the strike continues. The room near the emergency department has been temporarily closed to provide seating for patients’ relatives.
